Division Coach of the Year: Cheryl Lassen

Cheryl is a great leader and role model in the coaching community.  She always has a positive attitude and offers a lending hand whenever it is needed.  Her many years of experience coaching, makes her a great resource and she willingly will share her knowledge and ideas with you if you ask. Her success in her program comes from her ability to motivate her athletes and bring out their full potential.  Overall, though her amazing character and personality is a stand out both on and off the field.

Division 2 Coach of the Year: Becky Luzier

In only two years Coach Luzier has built a lacrosse legacy in Pittsburgh. She helped change the course of the Intrepid Girls Club. She helped bring the High School Coaches Association to life as well as helped develop all the girls programs at the Iceoplex. She is always willing to listen, gives practical advise and has lots of common sense (which by the way ain’t so common)! All this while continuing to develop the program and coaching the Bethel Park High School Girls’ Team to their first playoff birth..
